Psychiatrist job vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. The successful applicant will provide a broad range of psychiatric care including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health and behavioural disorders.

In this role, you will assess patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment, diagnose mental health issues, provide individual counseling and group therapy sessions, create treatment plans, monitor progress, and refer patients to other healthcare professionals as needed. You must be able to communicate effectively with patients from different cultural backgrounds in order to develop trust and rapport.

The successful candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong interpersonal skills and sound knowledge of psychiatry. You should also possess an aptitude for problem-solving with the ability to think critically when making decisions.

Qualifications for this role include a Medical Doctor degree in Psychiatry or similar field together with at least 5 years’ experience working as a Psychiatrist. A qualification in a related field may be preferred. Candidates must have valid registration/license from their respective countries or the Qatar Council for Health Practitioners (QCHP) is desirable but not mandatory.

This position offers an attractive salary package of 1500 Qatari Riyals (QAR) per month plus benefits depending on qualifications and experience. We are open to consider applications from foreign candidates who meet the above criteria.
