Job Title: Librarian
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1700

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in library science and possess excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain library resources according to established guidelines
• Cataloging books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, digital materials, and other resources
• Provide research assistance to patrons of all ages in person or via email/telephone
• Create and maintain library programs such as book clubs, story time, computer classes, etc.
• Develop and deliver educational programs for patrons of all ages
• Create displays to highlight new items or events
• Collect fines and fees from patrons
• Assist with collection development decisions by recommending appropriate books or materials for purchase

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience working in a library setting.
• Knowledgeable in library science principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
