We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing ophthalmological care to patients of all ages with an eye on providing excellent service. The successful candidate must possess a valid license to practice in Kuwait as well as the necessary qualifications in optometry.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Optometrist include but are not limited to: conducting eye examinations; diagnosing eye diseases or eye conditions; prescribing corrective lenses; and offering advice on general eye care. Additionally, the Optometrist may be required to provide emergency medical care, prescribe medication, and refer patients to other health professionals when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor’s degree in optometry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, along with a valid license to practice optometry in Kuwait. Familiarity with healthcare regulations is also advantageous. Work experience is not mandatory, but any prior exposure to optometric work will be looked upon favorably. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, proficiency in English (as well as Arabic if possible) and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300 per month plus benefits such as medical insurance and paid vacation days/holidays. We are willing to consider applicants from outside Kuwait for this role provided they possess the necessary qualifications and licenses for practicing optometry in Kuwait.
