Sommelier job vacancy in Dubai UAE


We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all wine related services in our restaurant.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a sommelier in a high-end restaurant, hotel or resort. They must also possess an excellent knowledge of and passion for wine, as well as an understanding of different food and wine pairings.

The successful applicant should have strong customer service skills, be able to confidently recommend wines to customers, provide information about wines and vineyards, upsell wines on the menu, and suggest alternative wines when requested. They must also be able to manage wine stock effectively and ensure that all stock is kept in perfect condition.

The Sommelier's role will also include conducting quality control checks on all wines served, participating in training sessions with the team, managing inventory orders and ensuring that all wastage is minimised.

This position offers an attractive salary of 1700 AED plus additional benefits such as medical insurance and meals on duty. We are open to considering applicants who are willing to relocate to Dubai from abroad for this role.
