Job Summary:

Needs for the Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising or related field. They should have excellent communication skills and be organized and detail-oriented. Additionally, they should be comfortable working with computers and have strong problem solving and time management skills. Additionally, a valid driver’s license is required for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

The Merchandiser will be responsible for developing effective strategies to promote merchandise in stores; creating displays; coordinating deliveries; maintaining inventory levels; monitoring customer feedback; suggesting product improvements; ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies; maintaining records of sales data; overseeing product returns; providing customer service support; negotiating contracts with suppliers; attending trade shows and exhibitions; developing promotional materials such as catalogs, brochures, flyers, posters etc.; and analyzing market trends to identify potential new products or services.
