Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Mason to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the trade and must be able to demonstrate their ability to carry out brickwork, blockwork, and stonework tasks with precision and accuracy. The Mason will be responsible for planning, preparing, constructing, and repairing a variety of structures in accordance with the designs provided by our architects.

Requirements:
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Mason or equivalent;
• Proven experience in carrying out brickwork, blockwork, and stonework tasks;
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans;
• Must have basic knowledge of building materials and construction methods;
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other tradespeople;
• Willingness to work long hours if needed;
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:
• Construct walls, floors, roofs, staircases and other structures according to the designs provided by our architects;
• Lay bricks in neat courses around openings such as windows or doors;
• Cut stones or bricks into different shapes using tools such as chisels or saws;
• Prepare mortar mixes using sand and cement or lime;
• Work with other tradespeople such as plasterers or carpenters onsite;
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely and meets all quality standards set by the company.
