Light Driver Job in Doha

We are seeking an experienced Light Driver to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a valid Qatari driving license and a good knowledge of the roads in and around the city. The successful applicant will be responsible for transporting staff and goods to various destinations within Qatar, and we are willing to consider a foreigner for this position.

The salary offered for this role is 1200 QAR per month.

The responsibilities of the Light Driver are as follows:
• Drive vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow assigned routes and instructions from supervisors
• Ensure that all necessary documents such as vehicle registries, insurance policies, delivery orders etc. are kept up to date
• Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they remain in good condition
• Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Report any vehicle-related incidents or accidents promptly
• Load/unload goods at designated locations as required.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Minimum two years of experience as a driver
• Valid Qatari driving license is essential
• Good knowledge of traffic rules, regulations, road safety practices, etc.
• Ability to read maps/GPS systems and understand directions quickly
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike
