Job Title: Librarian
Location: Sharjah
Salary: 1800 AED

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no experience to jump-start their career in Library Science.

As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our library collections. You will be expected to select, acquire, catalog, classify, circulate and maintain library materials such as books, periodicals, electronic media and audiovisual materials. You will also provide reference services to patrons and ensure that all materials are properly stored and organized.

To be successful in this role you should have excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to work independently and with a team. You should also have good research skills and the ability to use current technology such as databases and online tools. Knowledge of foreign languages is an asset. As this is a role open to foreigners, the ability to speak English fluently is essential.
