Job Responsibilities:
• Designing mechanical systems, components, products or processes according to specifications
• Developing designs that incorporate safety considerations as well as cost control
• Developing prototypes or models based on design concepts
• Evaluating the performance of mechanical systems, components, products or processes using appropriate methods
• Preparing drawings, diagrams or charts to represent design ideas
• Documenting design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Qualifications Needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
• Excellent knowledge of CAD software and other design tools such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor
• Highly organized with strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
