Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. We are offering a competitive salary of 1600 for the right candidate. We are open to considering a foreigner for this role.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Chef and provide support in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting with menu planning, food preparation, ordering supplies, inventories, and sanitation. You will also be responsible for training and leading kitchen staff in accordance with established recipes, procedures, and standards.

To qualify for this role you must possess at least 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setting. You must have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task effectively. You must also have knowledge of professional cooking methods and techniques as well as familiarity with health regulations and safety standards. Knowledge of Arabic cuisine is desirable but not essential.
