Truck Driver Vacancy – Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently from one destination to another, as well as performing pre-trip inspections and other duties as required.

Job Description:
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles before departing.
• Follow maps and plan routes to ensure efficient delivery/pickup of goods.
• Safely load/unload cargo and secure it using chains, binders, blocks, bracing or other equipment.
• Maintain logs and records of cargo deliveries/pickups, fuel purchases, repair costs etc. according to company policies and procedures.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience as a Truck Driver in Abu-Dhabi or similar environment; specialized knowledge in operating heavy vehicles is essential. • Valid UAE driver’s license with no violations in the last 5 years; applicants with an international license will be considered if they are willing to obtain a local one within 6 months of employment. • Knowledgeable about traffic laws including safe driving practices; excellent physical condition along with good eyesight (with or without corrective lenses). • Ability to work flexible hours; must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs independently; must be able to pass a drug test prior to employment
