Optometrist vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE


We are looking for an experienced, passionate and skilled Optometrist to join our eye clinic in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate must possess a degree in Optometry or a related field from an accredited college or university, and must have a valid license to practice optometry in the United Arab Emirates. We are also willing to consider applicants who are foreign nationals and who have minimal work experience as an optometrist.

The appointed Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including performing eye exams, prescribing eyewear and contact lenses, diagnosing and treating vision conditions, and identifying ocular health abnormalities. Other duties will include creating treatment plans for patients with vision problems, educating them on proper lens care and usage of contact lenses, and providing referrals to medical specialists when necessary.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of ocular anatomy and physiology as well as optical physics principles, the ability to recognize signs of serious ocular diseases or abnormalities during exams, knowledge of the latest optometric technologies and practices used in eye care services.
