Librarian job in Sharjah UAE for unskilled worker


We are currently looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our library resources and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the library.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in library science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a library setting. They should be knowledgeable about the latest trends and technologies in libraries today and have a customer-focused attitude. They should also be able to work independently, multitask, and manage their time effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing library policies and procedures
• Organizing collections, including cataloging books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and other resources
• Managing circulation systems for books and other materials
• Training staff on how to use library systems
• Supporting research activities
• Promoting library services to the public
• Addressing customer inquiries
• Providing reference services

We offer a salary of 900 AED/month with potential for growth based on performance. We are also open to considering foreign candidates for this position.
