Job Description:

We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful applicant must be a qualified medical doctor with a specialization in psychiatry and experience working in a clinical setting. We offer an attractive salary of 1600 QAR and are open to considering an immigrant.

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing professional mental health care to patients, including diagnosis, assessment, treatment planning and psychotherapy. They will also provide referrals to other health professionals as needed. The psychiatrist will need to maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and ensure that the highest standards of patient care are met. Furthermore, they must be able to effectively communicate with colleagues, patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment plans.

The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, good written communication skills and a strong sense of empathy for patients’ needs. They should also have strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications/side effects as well as knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or family therapy. A valid Medical Council License for practicing psychiatry is also preferred for this position.
