Petroleum Engineer – Dubai

We are seeking a passionate and highly talented Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of the development team of one of the leading oil and gas companies in the Middle East. This role comes with a competitive salary package of 1200 AED per month. We are also open to considering applicants with no prior experience.

Job Description:
The Petroleum Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing hydrocarbon recovery processes from petroleum reservoirs including drilling operations, production optimization, artificial lift systems, waterflooding operations, well completions and workover activities. The successful candidate will be expected to identify areas where improvements can be made in terms of efficiency or cost savings as well as suggest new technologies for consideration.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing reservoir models using reservoir simulation tools
- Evaluating existing wells for improved production performance
- Designing well completion strategies for optimal production rates
- Conducting field tests to confirm data accuracy
- Analyzing data and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner
- Implementing new technologies in the field for increased efficiency
- Supervising drilling operations in order to ensure safety regulations are adhered to
- Investigating potential new fields for development
- Developing well stimulation techniques

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline from accredited university
- Knowledge of reservoir engineering principles including material balance equations, PVT analysis, nodal analysis etc.
- Strong knowledge of artificial lift systems such as ESPs, PCPs etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency working with simulation software such as Eclipse, Petrel etc.
- Ability to interpret geologic logs (formation evaluation)
