As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, monitoring and optimizing oil extraction processes within the team; this includes selecting appropriate equipment for drilling wells, determining optimal methods of extraction or production of oil and gas reserves. You will also be expected to develop comprehensive risk analysis identification procedures and carry out safety checks on all machinery used in oil extraction operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring production levels and ensuring that they remain within acceptable limits.
