The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to fabricate parts using specific instructions. This includes interpreting engineering drawings, selecting materials, setting up tools and machines, measuring parts with precision tools, programming the CNC machine per instructions from the engineer or supervisor, inspecting completed parts and maintaining records of production.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills as well as good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred along with some prior experience in the operation of CNC machines. They should also have knowledge of mathematics, including geometric calculations; be able to read blueprints; have the capacity to operate CNC equipment accurately; understand basic computer operations; and be able to concentrate on detailed tasks for extended periods of time.
