Mechanical Engineer - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role.

Demands for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in similar role
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Willingness to travel as needed

Responsibilities:
• Designing mechanical systems, components and processes using CAD software
• Evaluating the performance of mechanical systems and components against specifications
• Overseeing the installation, commissioning and operation of mechanical systems and components
• Preparing technical documents such as reports, drawings and calculations
• Carrying out maintenance tasks on mechanical systems

Qualifications:
• Experience with the design of conveyors, pumps, valves and other related equipment is preferred
• Background in lean manufacturing principles is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of relevant standards on both local and international levels
• Must be able to read blueprints accurately
