Job Responsibilities:
• Collecting data on current land features such as vegetation, terrain, bodies of water, etc.
• Researching existing deeds, titles, surveys and other records related to the land being surveyed.
• Measuring distances between given points using specialized equipment such as total stations or EDMs (electronic distance measuring devices).
• Interpreting survey results by creating maps or drawings that accurately represent the land's features.
• Maintaining accurate records of survey measurements and results.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent qualification is required.
• Knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments as well as topographical mapping tools. • Experience with software such as AutoCAD would be beneficial. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential. • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions is essential. • Ability to work independently while following safety protocols.
