We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing eye diseases, prescribing glasses and contact lenses, monitoring vision changes, and helping patients maintain healthy eyesight.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or related field
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
• Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of optometry
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the latest technology in ophthalmology

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose patients’ eye conditions through comprehensive eye examinations, testing visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, refraction accuracy and other tests as needed.
• Prescribe glasses or contact lenses according to the patient’s needs.
• Monitor patients’ eye health and detect any changes in vision over time.
• Educate patients on how to maintain healthy eyesight with proper hygiene habits.
• Assist with pre-operative patient preparation and post-operative care for ophthalmic surgery procedures such as cataract extractions or laser treatments.
