PHP Developer – Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated PHP Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying web applications using the PHP programming language.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering principles and object-oriented programming methods. They should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to communicate effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, document, maintain, and support web applications built with PHP.
• Work with other developers to create new features and enhance existing features of web applications.
• Develop unit tests to ensure code coverage of all functions within web applications.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Troubleshoot bugs quickly and efficiently.
• Follow established coding standards within the development team.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in web development technologies.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing web applications with PHP.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery/MySQL/AJAX/JSON/XML technologies. • Experience with open source technologies such as WordPress or Drupal is a plus. • Experience working with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel is a plus. • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is preferred. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment is essential.

Salary: 1100 AED per month (We are ready to consider an immigrant).
