Job Description:
The Auto Electrician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, replacement, and installation of electrical systems on all types of automobiles. You will maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities that have been performed and ensure that safety protocols are adhered to at all times. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma/degree in automotive engineering or related field
• At least 3 years’ experience as an auto electrician or similar role
• Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems
• Knowledge of tools, common practices, diagnostic equipment, testing procedures and safety protocols related to automotive repair
• Excellent problem solving skills with good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
