We are looking for an experienced and motivated Travel Agent to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and booking travel itineraries for our clients, as well as providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary of 1500KD. We are open to considering foreign applicants with minimal work experience.

The successful candidate will be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail, enabling them to anticipate problems and provide solutions in a timely manner. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, so that they can accurately explain travel policies to customers and provide advice on the best options available. They should also have strong customer service skills as they will need to respond promptly to enquiries from customers via email or telephone. The ideal candidate should be proficient with computers, able to use online systems for researching flights, hotels etc., and should also have a good understanding of the geography of locations around the world.

The main responsibilities of a Travel Agent include: researching destinations based on clients’ interests; organizing flights, hotel bookings and ground transportation; providing advice on visas, vaccinations and currency; handling customer queries; ensuring compliance with travel regulations; preparing invoices; promoting new offers when appropriate; keeping records up to date.

Candidates must possess at least high school diploma or equivalent qualifications, with experience in the hospitality industry being an advantage. They must also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Travel agents must be able to work autonomously but also collaborate effectively with colleagues when needed. Fluency in English is essential as well as another language if applicable.
