Optometrist Wanted in Doha

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200 QAR per month. We are also open to considering foreign applicants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and providing pre- and post-operative care. They must have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with patients.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using specialized equipment
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases, such as glaucoma
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patients' needs
• Follow up with patients after surgery or other treatments
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records in a timely manner
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and safety measures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an optometrist preferred (but not required)
• Licensed to practice optometry in Qatar (or ability to obtain the license)
• Proficiency in English language (Arabic language proficiency is a plus)
