Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 1400 QAR/month

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients. You will assess and diagnose vision problems, prescribe corrective lenses, and determine the need for specialized treatments. Additionally, you will provide advice to patients on proper eye care and hygiene. To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
• Examine eyes using appropriate diagnostic tools to assess vision acuity and health of eyes
• Determine the need for corrective lenses and other treatments
• Prescribe corrective lenses or vision therapy as needed
• Monitor changes in patient vision over time and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Provide advice on how to maintain good eye health through proper hygiene practices and lifestyle choices
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies in optometry by attending seminars, conferences, and workshops when necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all assessments and treatments provided

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field from an accredited college or university
• Experience practicing optometry preferred but not required
• Solid understanding of eye anatomy, physiology, optics, visual functions, ocular diseases, pharmacology of ophthalmic medications
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Willingness to travel when necessary
