Job Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
- Follow local codes, regulations or laws when installing or repairing electrical systems
- Assemble cables and connect them to power sources such as generators or transformers
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects or the need for adjustment or repair
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an electrician with a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in the UAE is required
- A high school diploma is required; college degree is preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to electrical work
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics/diagrams/technical drawings
- Excellent problem solving skills
