Librarian – Dubai

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library’s resources, providing reference services, and developing library collections. The salary is 1000 AED per month.

Responsibilities:
• Manage library collections, including books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and electronic resources.
• Maintain a catalog of library holdings and handle circulation duties including issuing and returning materials.
• Develop library collections in accordance with the goals of the organization.
• Provide reference services to patrons, answering questions about bibliographic records or locating materials within the collection.
• Create educational programs for patrons such as book clubs or story times.
• Train other staff members on library systems and procedures.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a librarian is preferred but not required; we are open to considering candidates with minimal work experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
