Sommelier job vacancy in Dubai UAE


We are currently seeking a passionate and highly experienced Sommelier for an exciting role in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, organizing, and managing the restaurants wine list. This role requires an excellent knowledge of wines – both local and international – as well as a strong understanding of pairing wines with food.

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Sommelier in a busy restaurant environment and must have good communication skills. The successful candidate will be required to advise customers on the selection of wines according to their individual needs as well as suggesting food pairings.

The successful applicant must have an excellent palate and be able to identify different types of wines as well as their characteristics. They should also demonstrate a good knowledge of wine production, storage, aging, handling and service techniques.

In addition to this, the role also requires the Sommelier to maintain accurate financial records related to the purchase or sale of wines. They should also assist in developing promotional activities such as wine tasting events or special offers on certain products.
