Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources in order to generate insights that can be used to improve operations. This position requires strong analytical skills as well as a strong understanding of data analysis techniques. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem solving abilities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Analyze large datasets to discover patterns or trends in order to provide meaningful insights and solutions;
• Develop methods for collecting data from multiple sources;
• Utilize statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS etc.) to analyze data;
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments in order determine areas of improvement;
• Create reports based on findings in order to present findings in an easy-to-understand format;
• Monitor data accuracy throughout the organization;
• Stay up-to-date on current industry trends related to data analysis;
• Make recommendations for further analysis or improvement opportunities based on data analysis results.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics or equivalent field;
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Proficient knowledge of statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS etc.) as well as Microsoft Excel; • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets;
• Ability to create reports using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
