Optometrist – Al-Kuwait
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and comprehensive eye examinations. This position will require knowledge of ophthalmic medical equipment, the ability to diagnose and treat eye diseases, and the ability to provide patient education on vision care and eyewear.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, have excellent problem solving abilities, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. An optometric degree or equivalent qualifications in optometry is required. The successful candidate must also be licensed to practice in Kuwait or willing to obtain the necessary licenses.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out comprehensive eye examination with emphasis on ophthalmic clinical skills
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration etc.
• Provide accurate prescription of eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patient's needs
• Provide patient education on vision care and eyewear selection
• Develop treatment plans for patients with vision disorders or injuries
• Perform minor surgical procedures like cataract removal and corneal transplants
Salary: 1500 USD per month (Negotiable)

Qualifications:
• Optometric degree or equivalent qualifications in optometry
• Licensed to practice in Kuwait is preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
