Job Title: Accountant

Salary: 1300 AED per month
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to the management team by managing accounting records, preparing reports, and analyzing data. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, quarterly reports, and other documents for management review
• Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
• Prepare account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies between general ledger accounts and bank statements; identify areas of improvement in processes or procedures
• Analyze revenue/expense trends to identify potential savings opportunities or potential risks/problems
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, payrolls, accounts receivable/payable transactions, etc. to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Comply with established policies and procedures relating to financial reporting requirements; investigate issues as necessary related to discrepancies in account balances or transactions

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in accounting roles • Professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred but not required • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel (including V-lookup, Pivot Table functions) required • Working knowledge of accounting software programs such as QuickBooks desired • High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail • Excellent written communication skills
