Job Title: Accountant

Salary: 1100 QAR
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded. They will also be responsible for preparing financial reports and conducting analysis of data to ensure accuracy. This position is open to both local and foreign applicants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the company's accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports as required.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends or variances from expected results.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies/procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting of financial information.
• Develop strategies to improve accuracy of financial data and reduce costs associated with accounting operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required; experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
• Minimum two years’ experience working in an accounting role or similar capacity preferred but not required; entry level candidates will also be considered.
• Ability to comprehend complex financial information quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
