We are looking for a talented Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The position is full-time with a salary of 1700. We are open to considering foreign applicants who demonstrate the necessary qualifications and abilities to fulfill the role's requirements.
The Instrument Technician's primary job description is to install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems used in industrial facilities. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the principles of electrical engineering, pneumatics, and instrumentation technology to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and safely. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and maintenance manuals.
The duties of this position include identifying problems in existing systems; performing inspections; testing new systems; replacing or repairing faulty components; installing new instrumentation equipment; calibrating measuring devices; preparing test reports; monitoring system performance; providing maintenance information to supervisors or design engineers; and consulting with other professionals as needed.
Qualifications for this position include a degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related technical field; experience working with instrumentation systems in an industrial setting is highly preferred. An understanding of computer hardware/software programs such as SCADA systems is also highly desirable. The successful candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for this role as well as strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation equipment is functioning correctly and safely while meeting industry standards. They will be expected to keep up-to-date on the latest advancements in technology while performing all necessary repairs in an efficient manner according to company guidelines. Additionally, they will be expected to provide accurate reports on system performance while maintaining good relationships with suppliers and customers alike.
