Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. This position is a full-time role with a salary of 1000 AED per month. We are open to considering a foreigner who has no prior experience in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and implement merchandise strategies for high performance sales, within assigned categories and/or stores.
β’ Provide guidance and support to store managers on product selection, merchandising strategies, pricing policies, marketing campaigns, promotional activities etc.
β’ Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities and losses.
β’ Monitor customer feedback to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve set goals.
β’ Research market trends and track products in order to determine the best buying opportunities for the company.
β’ Ensure that products are properly displayed and marketed in each store according to corporate guidelines.
β’ Maintain records of all transactions related to store operations.
β’ Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is replenished on time as needed.
β’ Collaborate with other departments (marketing, finance etc.) to ensure smooth operations throughout the entire product life cycle from conception through delivery of goods/services to customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent work experience will be considered an advantage
β’ Proven track record of successful retail merchandising strategies
β’ In-depth knowledge of retail operations; including pricing policies, inventory management systems & customer service standards
β’ Excellent communication skills & ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
β’ Highly organized & detail oriented; with strong analytical skills
β’ Ability to work independently & as part of a team
