Sommelier vacancy in Dubai UAE


We are looking for a Sommelier in Dubai with a salary of 1800. We are ready to consider foreign applicants with minimal work experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on wines including vintage, origin, price and tasting notes. They will manage the wine cellar and ensure all stock is appropriately rotated and stored. The Sommelier will create the wine list for the restaurant and select wines that complement each dish from the menu. They will also assist in the training of restaurant staff on wine knowledge and service standards.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for wine, excellent knowledge of different varieties of wine, spirits and beers along with food pairings. They should also be able to advise customers on appropriate selections as well as upsell when appropriate. The successful applicant should have excellent customer service skills as well as good organizational and administrative skills to manage stock levels accurately.
