Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1500 KWD

Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This is a great opportunity for an immigrant to gain experience in the carpentry field.

Demands for the Candidate:
• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (e.g. saws, levels etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Working knowledge of timber production, timber selection and installation techniques
• Good communication skills with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Strong problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work long hours when necessary

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Technical training certification or relevant experience is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:
• Constructing, assembling, installing, repairing structures and fixtures made from wood as well as other materials such as plastic or metal
• Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber by using power tools such as routers, saws, drills etc.
• Measuring pieces of wood accurately using tape measures or other measuring devices
• Splitting building materials using saws or chisels • Installing door frames, window frames etc. • Repairing furniture by replacing parts such as handles, hinges etc. • Maintaining tools in good condition through regular cleaning and sharpening • Following health and safety guidelines when working with hazardous materials like sawdust
