Job Summary

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate must possess excellent craftsmanship skills and experience with woodworking tools and carpentry techniques. This position offers a competitive salary of 1800 per month. We are also open to considering immigrants for this position.

Job Description

The Carpenter will be responsible for performing all aspects of carpentry work including cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing various types of wood materials. The successful candidate will also be responsible for repairing furniture, installing cabinetry and countertops, building shelves and other fixtures, as well as performing other related tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler or measuring tape.
• Cut material using saws or other power tools such as routers or sanders.
• Assemble materials using nails, screws, staples or other fasteners.
• Smooth surfaces with sandpaper or electric sander after assembly is complete.
• Install finished products such as cabinetry or shelves into the designated area
• Repair damaged furniture items such as tables or chairs according to customer specifications
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment used in the trade
• Follow safety procedures when operating power tools or working with dangerous materials

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary training in carpentry is preferred
• Must possess excellent craftsmanship skills along with experience with woodworking tools
• Must be able to accurately read blueprints related to carpentry projects
• Must have good mathematical skills to make accurate calculations when measuring/cutting material • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team • Must have an eye for detail and an ability to follow instructions closely
