Chemist - Abu Dhabi

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Chemist to join our team here in Abu Dhabi. This individual will be responsible for developing and researching new products, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to the company based on their findings. The successful candidate will be able to work independently or collaboratively with other scientists in the development of materials, products, and processes.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting or related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with various scientific research tools (e.g., HPLC, FTIR)
• Knowledge of chemistry principles and theories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials

Responsibilities:
• Developing new products and processes through research and experimentation
• Analyzing data from experiments to determine outcomes
• Working with other scientists to develop materials, products, and processes
• Writing reports on findings for management review
• Assisting in the training of laboratory staff on safety procedures

Job Description: The Chemist will perform research activities in order to develop new materials, products, processes, or technologies. They will conduct experiments that use various scientific techniques (e.g., HPLC, FTIR) in order to analyze data and reach conclusions about the results. They will also be responsible for writing reports on their findings for management review. The Chemist must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively communicate their findings with other members of the team. Additionally, they must have the ability to follow safety protocols when working with hazardous chemicals or materials.
