We are looking for an experienced and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of human resource management, including the recruitment, selection, development, training and engagement of staff. You will ensure that the HR function is well managed and that all staff have access to the necessary support and resources needed to make them successful.
The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in human resource management principles and practices. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills as well as problem solving and organizational skills. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of local employment laws in Abu-Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
• Develop policies and procedures related to recruitment, selection, onboarding, career development, performance management and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Oversee the recruitment process including interviewing candidates, making hiring decisions, conducting background checks and verifying references.
• Design training programs for new recruits as well as existing employees to help them develop their skillset.
• Create a positive work environment by promoting collaboration between teams and recognizing outstanding performance.
• Handle employee grievances or complaints in an effective manner.
• Monitor employee attendance records to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Analyze data such as attrition rate or absenteeism rate to identify areas of improvement within the organization’s HR processes/policies.
• Prepare reports related to HR activities for senior management review on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required; Masters degree is preferred but not required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources Management or a related field is required; experience in the UAE is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is an asset but not mandatory
Knowledge of applicable labor laws in Abu Dhabi is essential; knowledge of other UAE emirates’ labor laws is an asset but not mandatory
