Construction Manager - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to fill the position of Construction Manager at our Al-Kuwait office. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200 and we are open to considering an immigrant for the role. Previous work experience is not required.

Job Description
The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from beginning to end. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, hiring subcontractors, acquiring materials and tools, supervising construction teams, ensuring quality control and safety standards are met throughout the project, and coordinating with stakeholders. The Construction Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop detailed plans and schedules for construction projects
• Oversee daily operations on site including safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met
• Manage budgeting of materials, labor costs, subcontractors’ fees etc.
• Coordinate with stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors etc.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors
• Maintain contact with clients during all phases of the project
• Ensure quality control is maintained throughout the project life cycle

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Proven track record managing large scale projects from start to finish
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings • Knowledge of building codes & safety standards • Excellent problem solving skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills • Knowledge of local laws & regulations related to construction
