Job Description:
As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining masonry structures such as walls, floors, and patios. You will work with brick, stone, concrete block, tile, stucco, terra cotta or other masonry materials. You will be expected to read blueprints or drawings in order to determine materials needed as well as project specifications. Other duties may include mixing mortar materials such as cement and sand; measuring distances; cutting bricks or blocks; leveling surfaces; installing anchors; applying waterproofing material; and troweling surfaces.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in masonry construction. A high school diploma is required. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations is highly desirable. The successful candidate must have the ability to read blueprints or drawings for project specifications as well as strong communication skills in order to follow instructions from supervisors properly. The ability to carry out physical activities such as lifting heavy objects is also essential for this role.
