As a Land Surveyor your role will involve planning and carrying out surveys of specific land areas using the latest surveying equipment and techniques. You will be responsible for gathering data on features such as contours, elevations, roadways, streams and other topographical features of land areas in order to produce maps for use in construction or legal proceedings. Furthermore you will have the responsibility of interpreting data collected from aerial photographs or satellite imagery as well as providing reports on survey findings.

To be successful in this role you must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Land Surveyor along with a degree or certification in surveying or related field. In addition you will possess excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities both verbally and written so that you can communicate your findings effectively with colleagues as well as clients. It would also be beneficial if you have previous experience working abroad and are familiar with foreign cultures and customs.
