Job Summary:

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate must be able to assess and diagnose vision problems and provide appropriate treatment options. The position involves providing eye care services, conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, testing for glaucoma and other eye diseases, as well as providing education about eye health and contact lenses. This job includes a salary of 1300 and we are ready to consider an immigrant with minimal work experience.

Responsibilities:
The Optometrist's primary responsibility is to diagnose vision problems through comprehensive eye exams. This includes determining the patient’s visual acuity, inspecting the eyes for disease, analyzing results from tests such as tonometry and color vision tests, prescribing corrective lenses or contact lenses if needed, recommending vision therapy if necessary, and providing advice on how to best take care of the eyes. The Optometrist will also collaborate with other health professionals such as ophthalmologists or opticians in order to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess a degree in optometry from an accredited school/university along with certification/license from the Qatar Council of Health Specialties (QCHS). Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to quickly build rapport with patients. They must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism while being able to accurately interpret test results and make informed decisions regarding diagnoses and treatments. Additionally, they should possess strong problem solving skills while being able to manage multiple tasks at once.
