Job Responsibilities
• Perform welding tasks on various types of machinery, vehicles, frames, and other structures as directed by supervisors
• Use various welding techniques such as arc welding, gas welding, tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, mig welding etc. according to the specifications given by supervisors
• Inspect welded components for accuracy and defects with appropriate tools such as gauges and calipers
• Follow safety guidelines while carrying out all the work activities in order to avoid any hazards or accidents on site
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations as per company norms

Requirements
• Proven experience in welding either as an apprentice or through related qualifications such as a diploma in engineering or technology related field
• Must have familiarity with various types of welding equipment and procedures used in different applications
• Good understanding of basic geometric shapes and principles governing their construction
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams accurately
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
