Job Description:
The Physician Assistant will provide patient care in a variety of settings under the direction of physicians. Responsibilities include providing physical exams; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; diagnosing illnesses; developing treatment plans; performing minor procedures; consulting with physicians on complex cases; documenting patient histories; educating patients about health promotion and disease prevention; administering medications as prescribed by physicians; referring patients to specialists; communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed to coordinate patient care. The PA must demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, laws/regulations related to healthcare, pharmacology, clinical procedures/protocols, laboratory practices/procedures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in health science or a related field required.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program required. • Previous experience strongly preferred but not required. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. • Must possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with patients quickly and effectively
