Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the collection of blood samples and other specimens from patients. You will be expected to work quickly and accurately while maintaining a high level of professionalism and providing excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collect blood samples from patients according to established procedures.
• Process specimens for laboratory testing, including centrifugation, labeling, and documentation.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about the collection process and providing information on test results when available.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy certification highly preferred.
• At least one year of experience working as a phlebotomist in a medical setting required; experience in an international setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, equipment, laboratory safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations required.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with compassion required; excellent communication skills also required.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; must also be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as needed.
