Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Driver to join our team in Sharjah. The Driver will transport goods and people safely and efficiently while complying with all traffic laws. They should be able to accurately follow a pre-determined route, maintain the vehicle properly, and be able to troubleshoot any problems that arise during the journey. The driver will also be responsible for handling payments, keeping accurate records of their trips, and providing customer service when necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Drive safely and follow all applicable traffic laws; inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues; maintain cleanliness of vehicle on the inside and outside.
• Pick up passengers or goods from designated locations at predetermined times; follow routes as specified by management or customers; monitor traffic conditions to plan alternate routes when necessary.
• Manage payments by collecting fares from passengers or charging customers for goods; record information related to trips such as time, distance covered, fares collected etc.; provide customer service when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies as well as local laws; communicate regarding vehicle maintenance issues to management in a timely manner.
• Perform minor repairs such as filling up fuel or checking fluids when necessary; perform daily pre-trip inspections of the vehicle prior to beginning each shift; follow proper accident procedures if needed.

Salary: 1600 AED per month
Other Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license from Sharjah (foreigner applicants must have valid international license); must pass drug screening tests; must have clean driving record with no violations within the past three years.
• Ability to understand directions and maps quickly; ability to drive long distances without fatigue; experience in driving in busy cities with heavy traffic is preferred but not required.
