Job Title: Librarian
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: 1400 AED per month

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing and managing the library resources, maintaining library catalogs and databases, and providing reference services to patrons.

The successful applicant must possess an undergraduate degree in library science, information science, or a related field. Proven experience of at least three years as a librarian in a library setting is preferred.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
• Assisting patrons with research requests;
• Cataloging library materials and entering information into the library database;
• Maintaining the library's collections;
• Developing and implementing programs to promote the use of the library's resources;
• Supervising students working in the library; and
• Maintaining accurate records of circulation activity.

The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently as well as be able to work cooperatively with other staff members. The ability to provide excellent customer service is essential for this role. Fluency in English is required for this role; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not essential.
