Job Title: Accountant

Salary: 1700 AED/Month

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company, preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow and budgeting. You must also ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You should be organized and have a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records including invoices, expenses, payroll, and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly reports on income and expenses as well as monthly balance sheets.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Monitor cash flow and budgeting to ensure that the company is operating within its means.
- Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in transactions.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze discrepancies between actual results and budgeted amounts.
- Monitor debtors/creditors list to ensure timely payments/receivables while minimizing interest expenses/charges.
- Investigate any inconsistencies related to financial transactions or documents within the system.
- Assist with internal/external audits by providing supporting documents as required by auditors or other third parties.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- At least two years of experience working as an accountant or similar role is required; prior experience in UAE is preferred but not mandatory; immigrant candidates are welcome to apply for this role as well!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is required; knowledge of accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multi task effectively is essential for this role!
- Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written English language proficiency is required for this position; Arabic language proficiency is a plus!
