Librarian job in Dubai UAE for unskilled workers


We are searching for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining library collections and services.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, with at least two years of professional experience working in library services. Previous experience in the Middle East is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. They must also be computer literate and have the ability to manage both physical and digital resources efficiently.

Responsibilities include selecting library materials; cataloging books; organizing book collections; providing reference services; maintaining databases; training staff; and preparing reports on library activities. In addition, this person will be responsible for providing readers' advisory services and planning special events such as reading groups or book clubs.

We offer a competitive salary of 1800 AED per month with potential for growth depending on experience. We are open to considering immigrants who meet all the required qualifications.
